Farm Viability Training Program
Virtual Farm Viability Cohort Training for Hawai’i Ag Buisness Owners
We’re excited to launch our virtual traiining to suppor the growth of Hawai’i farm business owners. These materials were developed from two in-person cohorts conducted with farm business owners on Oahu and Hawai’i Island. This 8 week, cohort-based training program guided participants through a process for creating a farm viability strategy grounded in individual income and quality of life goals. The training is delivered through two in-person workshops, cohort discussions with fellow farm business owners, and online training videos and tools.
Upon completion in this virtual training, participants will have a working knowledge and ability to use simple financial tools, develop healthy monthly and annual financial management routines, and identify S.M.A.R.T actions to meet their target goals.
These training materials were developed as part of a greater, cohort-based learning program through the Hawai’i Women Farmers Network (WFN).
